| What we should be doing |
In today's NYTimes, Soujourner Jim Wallis tells Democrats how they can win support from the religious community:
1. Take the lead on getting rid of poverty
2. Lead on the environment
3. Propose creative ways to reduce abortions
4. Show that it is possible to be "pro-family" and pro gay civil rights at the same time
5. Advocate international credibility, ie. renounce claims to oil or military bases
Frankly, I agree with him entirely. |
