| Defying the critics |
Check it out: The Democratic Party has a legislative agenda!
Among the bills planned for the "legislative blitz during their first week in power":
- increase in the minimum wage (nice)
- roll back parts of the Republican presciption drug law (necessary)
- homeland security controls (vital)
- reinstate lapsed budget controls (necessary)
Not mentioned is rolling back part of the Bush tax cuts, but probably best not to propose that, as it's all the media would focus on. |
