Enlightened Britain |
Kos notes that equality for gay people has pretty much become a non-issue in British elections. Nobody talks about it, because it's accepted that even the Tories support gay rights.
In fact, England in general is far more enlightened than the U.S. on homosexuality. A 2003 Pew survey showed the following:
